WebHedHost is the hosting arm of WebHed Design. We exist primarily to provide quality hosting for our design clients. However, we're not total snobs. We also provide hosting for musicians, starving artists and non-profit organizations. We do not actively solicit hosting business because, quite frankly, we are a design house. As a result, we like to think that all of our hosting customers enjoy more of a 'one-on-one' relationship than they would at joeshostingandbilliardroom.com.

What do we have for bells and whistles?

We have a sleek whizzy black server with a red racing stripe running Apache web server under Red Hat linux. It is configured to support PHP, Python, Perl, MySQL, SSL, SSH, SSI and lots more alphabet soup. We have it's twin set up as a 'mirror' in another location on an entirely different network. In the unlikely event that both servers are unreachable simultaneously, it's probable that the Apocalypse is in progress, and you have more pressing issues anyway.

We will install and configure bulletin boards, guestbooks, CMS, shopping carts or whatever else your little heart desires (for a fee, of course). We also accept that you may be smarter than the average bear. If you can convince us that you know what you're doing, we'll even let you install and configure stuff for yourself.

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain ...

WebHedHOST is run by a fellow named Matt Lindi - a freelance web designer and musician who has an unhealthy addiction to gizmos, gadgets, guitars and things that go 'beep'. He also likes to call himself 'We', as you may have noticed.
